Jason has worked in the architectural design and construction industry for over 19 years. He started at TRG as a junior draftee in 1999 and since then his excellence, passion for design and an influential strong hands on approach have taken him to the top.
Ian has worked in the retail sector for over thirty years, having worked for companies which include Coles, Safeway, Composite Buyers and Davids Limited (IGA Metcash). He has wide-ranging skills in retail design, design, development, construction documentation and project management for retail developments including supermarkets and liquor outlets. He has designed numerous concepts from small highly complex developments to major shopping centres.
Marcio joined the team in 2005 and has since then been responsible for overall business development, strategic planning, and business oversight. With a deep experience in practice management, Marcio continues to work on TRG’s expansion, making sure business processes and systems, including Finance, Human Resources and Technology can come together in harmony.
Working within a fast paced retail environment for both small local and large national retail Clients, Johann’s passion is to drive projects and the project teams from concept through to handover and go above and beyond simply delivering an end product. Johann brings to the office various disciplines of experience to TRG including interior design, architecture, project and construction management. When Johann is not managing projects he enjoys time relaxing with his family and his recently retired labrador, Fred.
Manager Project Management
Eliza has been with TRG for almost a decade now working as Revit Documenter on various corporate projects. She believes in team work & been involved in training and supporting team members across all TRG Branches. She believes that by sharing knowledge with co-workers, one can contribute to their career development as well as build own portfolio and repertoire. She believes in fairness, love and kindness and lives by the quote ‘The best feeling of happiness is when you’re happy because you’ve made somebody else happy’.
Senior Associate - Documentation Manager Corporate
Tony has over 35 years’ experience in the building industry with over 15 years at TRG. He is a specialist in fuel station design including drive thru retailers and liquor stores. He has a strong focus on master planning, concept design through to construction documentation. When he’s not at work, he is a passionate Western Bulldogs supporter.
Senior Associate - Fuel & Liquor Documentation Manager
Anton joined The Retail Group in 2005 as a junior Draftsman. Now, an experienced design professional extending over 12 years focusing on the retail and the commercial sector of the building industry. Working for and on behalf of National Clients, Developers and national brands.
Anton relocated to Perth in 2016 where he manages a team of design professionals.
Anton holds an Advanced Dip. of Architectural Building Design and a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics.
Anton enjoys the outdoors, sports and catching up with friends over drinks.
Senior Project Leader
Jillian is a graduate from University of Tasmania (UTAS) in Masters of Architecture and has been in the industry for 3 years. Previous experience in fuel/petrol station designs has landed her a role in TRG. Her scope of work involves design, documentation, and co-ordination with clients and consultants. She has a keen eye for detail and aims for perfection in documentation drawings. To relax her mind off work Jillian goes for weekly pilates and aims to do a 10km run annually, she has achieved 2 so far.
Graduating in 2004, Sergio has worked for a range of interior design and architectural firms. He has over 10 years Revit experience drawing from a range of roles spaning from end user to Revit implementation. As BIM manager, Sergio helps make sense of the complex and ever changing world of BIM. He is a believer in simple and clear cut Revit management processes that deliver the best outcome for client and end user. An enthusiastic football fan, Sergio claims Benfica is the best team in the world.
After graduating with his Diploma in Building Design & Technology, Christian first joined TRG in 2007 as a junior draftsperson. Since then he had taken a hiatus from the industry to pursue further study, completing his bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) before returning back to TRG in 2013. With nearly 5 years’ industry experience, Christian has established proficiency in Woolworths Documentation & now leads a team at our office in Sydney.
When he is not eating cheese, Christian enjoys carpool karaoke (by himself) & catching up with friends over dumplings.
Project Leader Corporate
Martyn graduated from school of architecture and design at RMIT University and joined TRG in 2006.
He has worked on a range of projects including residential, retail and commercial. He uses his 3D modelling and rendering skills to assist TRG on architectural designs, presentation, documentation and marketing. He is passionate about architecture and the community. He believes well designed buildings and environments can improve quality of life and the surrounding environment. Outside of work he enjoys food, travelling and walk his cat.
Carla is a multidisciplinary designer with a strong Industrial and Graphic Design background. Throughout her career, she has continued to expand her toolbox with other creative skills such as Interior Design and Photography. Carla loves to get involved in any kind of creative project, being particularly interested in defining the best aspects and reaching that ‘sweet spot’ where the aesthetics and functionality blend together to produce amazing results. In her spare time Carla enjoys being outdoors - either camping, hiking, climbing - or going to the beach. She is passionate about her photography and has played tennis and the transverse flute since childhood.
As a Project Leader at TRG, Alexander has a strong emphasis for providing a premium service to our clients across a range of retail projects. Through design & innovation, he is focussed on committing his services to high level documentation & coordination while looking to enhance retailers experiences for their customers, staff & stakeholders. With a background in Project Management, Building Design & Architectural Drafting, Alexander has been able to establish himself in a confident team with likeminded thinkers who are capable of providing a 360° project service.
Charlie is a Master of Architecture Graduate and he is an integral member of the design team. He is enthusiastic about the experience of the end user, and the ways they can be interacted and influenced spatially. Charlie understands how environment, community and planning can work together to form architectural concepts and he helps to transform these concepts to visualisations.
Charlie is fluent in both Mandarin and English and he is a passionate pianist in his spare time. He loves watching sports and he is always up for bushwalking.
Mary Lin is Architectural Draftsperson, she has been responsible for the production of design and documentation for a range of commercial retail projects, using Autodesk Revit suite including 3D modelling. As part of a corporate team, she is currently well involved with supermarket projects.As an accomplished designer with over 6 years’ experience in the field of Architecture, she has worked conscientiously and effectively. She has demonstrated a commitment to achieving quality outcomes to match the high standards required. She is a well-rounded individual who lives with passion, dedication, and grace. Russell’s role at TRG is that of Senior Documentor. His duties are varied, including documentation of Sketch Plans, Development Applications, New Store Concepts, and Town Planning. His main focus is on the provision and coordination of high quality Construction Documentation. Russell has over 25 years experience in Architecture, Construction and Town Planning, with qualifications in both Documentation and Urban Design. When not at TRG, Russell enjoys spending his time camping with his family and owner building.
Kaveh holds a Master Degree in Architecture. He has started working more than 15 years ago, parallel to studying in uni.
After graduation he joined several large-scale, mixed-use projects and has worked in some well-known architecture companies in different roles.
Working on a wide-range of medium to large-scale projects has helped him develop his design and management abilities. He likes to work as a team member/leader.
He joined TRG in 2017 as the Design Manager with a great passion to design and a goal of making magnificent improvements in the quality of architectural design in the company.
Senior Design Manager
Keiko joined TRG in 2017, working with the Fast Food&Fuel team on all stages of documentation, from concept to planning and construction. With a double degree in Architecture&Urban Design, she has a diverse professional background, having worked in master planning, lighting, landscape and residential projects. She believes that good design is an essential tool to improve our communities and the lives of those in them and should be an experience available to all. She loves her volleyball training, true crime podcasts and a nice glass of wine with her dear ones.
Since joining TRG in 2016, Ned has developed into a versatile member of the team. With a clear understanding in both design & construction, he’s been an integral part of helping link the aspects of 3D modelling into working drawings. From a background in joinery & hardware, Ned carries an eye for detail across the various projects he’s worked on while assisting client’s with clarifying finer detail within the scope. Since completing his studies in Building Design, Ned has stepped up to coordinate his own projects & provide solid foundations for others to learn from.
Michael joined TRG in 2015, in his time with TRG, Michael has worked with Supermarket & Liquor clients on all levels of documentation. In his spare time, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing and everyday living.
Joining TRG in 2017 as an Architectural Building Designer Stefani is now an experienced Architectural Technician. Taking on retail design she has expanded her knowledge in design and documentation on a range of projects using Autodesk Revit, she is now well involved in commercial projects, this may come with working for Woolworths supermarkets for over 10 years & graduating in the field of Architectural Building Design. She believes in, “working together as a team” In her spare time she loves being surrounded by her family–love & happiness is key in life she says.
Romina possesses a degree in architecture and graduated from the Ms of Design Innovation and Technology almost two years ago. Since then, she started an amazing adventure in TRG. Her professional experience covers all aspects of an architectural project, from design thinking to construction supervision and project delivery. She is passionate for design, technology, high-end documentation and recently peer coaching. Romina firmly believes that hard work will always pay off. In her spare time, she likes to take online courses, go to the cinema and spend quality time with her loved ones.
You might recognize Charlotte’s voice when she answers the phone or her friendly smile when arriving at the TRG office. Charlotte runs the day to day administration and operations of TRG working closely with the Directors and project managers to keep things running smoothly. With a qualification in Accounts & Administration, Charlotte has been able to work with different employees across a wide range of tasks to ensure various deadlines are met. Through her positive attitude and hard work ethic, she has become someone TRG can always rely on.
In 2017 Nikki returned to TRG after a ten year departure and has slotted straight back into the TRG working culture. Her extensive retail based knowledge and documenting skills means she enjoys helping others further their knowledge and understanding of the retail sector. After being accepted in to Landscape Architecture at RMIT she later made the change to Building Design and Drafting at RMIT, when she realised her passion was for infrastructure and the interior. When Nikki isn’t at work or running barefoot in the mountains, she enjoys running her own small clothing label - designing, making and selling clothes.
Jessica came to us in 2016 after graduating her Advanced diploma of building design. She began working as a Woolworths Revit documenter which came easily as her previous position was within Woolworths stores. Jessica’s knowledge of supermarket operations, Revit & construction helped her advance at a fast pace to step up to new challenges. Jessica also studies Korean Language at an advanced Level and enjoys singing with her band in her spare time.
After studying Building Design and Technology at Holmesglen Tafe David first joined TRG in 2007 as a junior draftsperson, working on retail projects. After taking some years off to fulfil his love of travel, David returned to TRG at the start of 2017 without missing a beat. With a proficiency in Revit and the desire to learn more, he has established himself as a valuable member of the team. When he’s not working or travelling he likes to play basketball and have a beer with friends.
Lisa joined TRG in 2015, and has had vast experience in both the accounting and customer service/admin sectors across many industries, including her own businesses. Her role here at TRG is Office and Finance Manager, and as a senior member of the admin team, she ensures streamlined operations of the accounting and administration services across our Australian and New Zealand offices. In her spare time she is kept busy with her family and new Golden Retriever puppy “BUDDY”, she is also a part time Irish Dancer, and has competed at World level.
Since graduating from UNSW with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture Sonia joined TRG in 2016 as an Architectural Draftsperson.
With her passion for design and technical proficiency in Revit she has been able to develop her abilities and has become a respected member of our team in Sydney, primarily working on documentation projects for Woolworths. In her spare time when Sonia isn’t playing a game of ultimate frisbee, she enjoys spending her downtime time watching binge-worthy TV shows while enjoying a glass of wine (or two).
