Rundle Mall is Adelaide’s premier shopping strip for retail and lifestyle. The Kathmandu Rundle Mall site had been renovated as part of a heritage listed site revamp. The site, which included a first floor and basement, was a new frontier for multiple level stores in the Kathmandu store development. The project was the first time Kathmandu rolled out its latest fixture suite which saw a new range of shapes, materials and colours used throughout the fit-out. The heritage stone walls were kept as a feature to give a combination of contemporary architectural and traditional design. The store was made to feel open and inviting whilst also featuring a large product range.
